Desi Radio is a 24/7 community station located in Southall, West London, broadcasting on 1602 AM, founded in 1997, and run by volunteers. It is engaged in promoting Panjabi culture, language, and history, and provides information on local services in health, education, housing, and employment. It also features a variety of programs, including poetry, writings, and music, ranging from Bhangra and pop to traditional, spiritual, and classical styles rooted in the region's heritage.
