Heat Radio

Heat Radio is a digital commercial radio station owned by Bauer Media Audio UK. It broadcasts across the UK on DAB+ and Rayo as the digital spin-off of Heat magazine since January 2003. The station broadcasts in English, features a hot adult contemporary format, and targets women aged 15 to 34 with pop hits and showbiz news.

Programming relies on automated blocks and presenters like Matt Crabb, Maxine Knight, and Jennie Longdon across breakfast, daytime, and drive-time. Signature slots focus on 90s, 00s, and 10s pop culture.

The playlist mixes current chart hits with classics like Madonna's Hung Up, Britney Spears, and the Spice Girls. Official RAJAR figures for the period ending June 2026 report a weekly reach of 387,000 listeners. This audience size reflects a drop compared to previous years.

Compared to Capital or KISS, Heat Radio combines pop music with red-carpet journalism. Why tune in? The station offers a specific value proposition: it fills the gap for listeners who want an uninterrupted stream of nostalgia paired directly with celebrity culture, making it a functional choice for fans who want entertainment news delivered alongside their music.
