Radio Smooth Relax

Radio Smooth Relax is a digital radio station in the United Kingdom operated by Global. Launched on January 8, 2024, the station broadcasts through digital multiplexes, online streaming, and the Global Player app without an FM frequency.

The station features automated music blocks with no live presenters. Programming runs on a fixed schedule, including Smooth Relax Mornings, Smooth Relax Afternoons, and Smooth Relax Evenings. The playlist focuses on mellow pop and love songs by artists like Adele and Elton John.

RAJAR(Q2 2026) data shows the station reaches around 505,000 weekly listeners, showing a growth of over 13 percent compared to last year across a 15+ population base of roughly 58.2 million. Listeners choose the station for familiar, easy-listening tracks during daily tasks.

For a balanced perspective, the station offers a dependable, low-effort music mix, but it lacks variety. The playlist heavily overlaps with the main Smooth Radio network, offering little unique content for dedicated music fans.
