Greatest Hits Radio North East Scotland is an independent local station based in Aberdeen, with 37,000 listeners each week. It was founded on 9 January 1995. On air, it features music from the ’70s through the ’90s, as well as shows and programs with entertaining presenters; one of them is Ken Bruce, who hosts pranks and light-hearted segments. News bulletins are broadcast hourly from 6:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 7:00 to 13:00 at weekends, alongside sport and traffic updates.
